Unfortunately, we have now peaked as a society.

We’ve had water jetpacks for some time. These work by picking up water from below and shooting it downwards, allowing you to propel yourself upwards or, in some cases, into news anchors.

Another piece of technology we’ve had for a while is flamethrowers. Throw those two things together, and you’ve got one of the coolest displays I’ve seen in some time.
